This means clear information, a clear message and exciting imagery. This is what gets people to turn up and spend their money. I love to play around with different ideas and tailor them to the brands I'm working with, so that the designs are as exciting as the events and products themselves.
CAPTAIN'S CABIN
FRESHERS 2023
Working on a 30-day calendar for Captain's Cabins Freshers was an exercise in project management and collaboration. Each day had its own event with different external performers and partners, which meant 30 individual designs, each tailored to that day's theme or activity. This wasn't just about dates and times; it was about capturing the excitement and novelty that Freshers month brings and synchronising the brand of Captain's Cabin with the individual identities of our partners. The calendar was a visual journey through the month, ensuring students felt the buzz of the upcoming days and knew exactly where they needed to be.

DJ POSTERS
When I design DJ posters, I consult with the client about what makes their identity distinctive. My job is to translate that into exciting artwork that communicates their brand and gets people to turn up. I take the time to listen to and appreciate their music to help me come up with the perfect design. From there, I pick colours and fonts that match the vibe.
The goal? A poster that looks as good as their tracks sound, making fans eager for the next set.
